Steve Hillier is a keyboard player and vocalist from the U.S. who released his first album in 2018. Before that he spent 30 years as a sideman behind soul and blues recording artists Bobby Stringer and Betty Padgett.

Steve started playing piano and composing music as a teenager growing up in Darien, Connecticut. His music crosses genres, from the blues-rock album Let’s Talk About It, to his instrumental jazz single Sunday Groove/Jazz Waterfall, to his progressive rock EP Moving Star.

Steve released two new songs in Dec. 2023, Musician’s Blues and Nightwatch, and a follow-up blues and jazz rock EP, Wintertime, in January 2024. He started in releasing new music from his upcoming EP “Walking In New Orleans” in February 2024 with a straight ahead rock single, Every Night. He followed that up with a progressive pop single “Love For The Individual Passerby” in July and a love song “Things On My Mind (Ocean) in October. His latest single, “Everybody Knows (I Love You), will be released on January 24, 2025.
