Steve Hillier is a keyboard player and vocalist from the U.S. who released his first album in 2018. Before that he spent 30 years as a sideman behind soul and blues recording artists Bobby Stringer and Betty Padgett.

Steve started playing piano and composing music as a teenager growing up in Darien, Connecticut. His music crosses genres, from the blues-rock album Let’s Talk About It, to his instrumental jazz single Sunday Groove/Jazz Waterfall, to his progressive rock EP Moving Star.

Steve released two new songs in Dec. 2023, Musician’s Blues and Nightwatch, and a follow-up blues and jazz rock EP, Wintertime, in January 2024. He started releasing new music from his upcoming EP “Walking In New Orleans” in February 2024 with a straight ahead rock single, Every Night. He followed that up with a progressive pop single “Love For The Individual Passerby” in July and a love song “Things On My Mind (Ocean) in October. His latest single, “Everybody Knows (I Love You), was released on January 24, 2025. That was followed up by the release of the EP on March 21, 2025. It included two previously unreleased tracks. He is currently working on a Jazz instrumental album to be released in 2026 called “In The Beginning”.
