Bring The Piano Up Front — Steve Hillier Music

All of these songs, with the exception of Somebody Tell Her I Love Her, were released on the album "Let's Talk About It". I decided to release these original stripped down versions after a very favorable response to them on SoundCloud - especially Someboy Tell Her I Love Her and Over The Garden Wall.

Bring The Piano Up Front is where my recording adventure started and contains the recordings from a CD only publication that I shared with a few friends in 2015.

My first LoFi album before I ever heard of LoFi - recorded piano and vocal together live in a bedroom studio, directly into an old Macbook 1/8" mic/line input using Audacity software, vocals and keyboards output directly from my Yamaha S90 piano/synthesizer. Drums were recorded after that on my Korg T3 synth manually - no drum sequencing or pre-recorded patterns.
